Memorandum of Understanding Signing
September 24, 2007 marked the beginning of the partnership between, at the time, the three participating institution, creating the foundation for the Alberta Team. Joined by students and staff the event featured the presidents of SAIT Polytechnic, Mount Royal College, and the University of Calgary officially signing a Memorandum of Understanding to confirm the institutional support and participation in the Solar Decathlon. The Alberta Solar Decathlon Team also unveiled its conceptual design for the first time at the launch of our unique design incorporating the "elements" of wood, water, stone, and light.
