Sponsorship Recognition Dinner
As the Alberta team progressed through it's second month of construction, we held a large event at the SAIT Highwood Dining Room on June 8th 2008. This Sponsorship Recognition Dinner brought together all sponsors, team members, and faculty advisors to thank the support received and reiterate the importance of their contribution, without whom the progress of our project would not be possible.
The dinner also provided a fantastic opportunity for some of our students to practice as they cooked the delicious meals that they will be preparing for our judges during the Dinner Party Competition while in Washington D.C.
Networking outlets, a series of speeches by our team members, and a showing of the promotional video produced by the Solar Decathlon - this Sponsorship Recognition Dinner successfully captured the spirit of our team and evoked excitement among our sponsors for an eventful summer leading up to the competition.
