March 14 is when we started concentrating on the floor joist system for the house.
Our floors will contain the plumbing, ductwork for ventilation and the wiring for the house. Since the house is being built o be taken apart special considerations have to be made for how everything goes together and comes apart for transporting.
The design of the home requres a precision for how the various modules will be lined up afterwards, and how the different sytems integrated into the floors will sit together.
Our volunteers visit the site as they can to help with the project.
And of course the reward is lunch for those who work so hard.
