June 7th marked the day our timber arrived. This is timber from a community forest in BC and it has been milled by master craftsmen. It is still green, so there will be some drying, twisting and cracking after construction. While concerning, the timber is not the major support for the house. The Structural Insulated Panels would be enough by themselves.
