Samanta Jovanovic - Sponsorship Manager
Samanta is a fourth year energy management and applied energy economics major at the University of Calgary. She joined the Alberta team last fall, as the Sponsorship Coordinator with the group. Sam has been a member of the Institute of Sustainable Energy, Environment, and Economy Students’ Association since the 2008 school year and learnt about the Solar Decathlon competition through the association.
Sam spent her summer with the team and working at Harvest Energy in Calgary. Currently, she is interning within the Environment and Energy section at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. During downtime Sam spends time at her family’s restaurant, takes her dogs out for walks, and loves skydiving.
